Hi all, are the girling brake master cylinders any good? has anyone used one? or should i stick to AP?

More important to use the right bore or you'll have to A. push the pedal hard enough to go through the floor to stop B. Actually push the pedal through the floor apply your brakes.

There a two different bores sizes of tandem cylinders and a third type that has both bore sizes one on top of the other. I think there's an web retailer (Brakeparts?) that has a bit of techno info on their site.

right, cheers, mine currently has a larger bore on the bottom of the cylinder and the brake fluid canister doesn’t fit well.. so might be looking for an alternative.. I haven’t used it yet and i don’t know the manufacture make so not sure if its any good.

just been looking on ebay and the girling cylinders are about £20.. and the AP £120.
