hi

im going to fit adjustabe bottom arms, rear camber brackets, and adjustable track rod ends (if needed?) on my mini soon and was wondering were is the best place to get them from (value for money)?
i also want to get the rear camber plates aswell.
eventually its going to all be adjustable and set up propoly!
so far i have heavy duty tie-rods, gaz dampers (lowerd type), and hi-los all round.
its my everyday drive atm but it will be my weekend turbo asap!

cheers

you already have adjustable track rod ends as std. you can however get deeper ones off a triumph spitfire so you can use more threads to aid strength if needed (?)

adjustable bottom arms can be got from most places, minispares do ones without rose joints which is probably best on a road car.

word of advice is if you chose to use poly bushes in the bottom arm, use the offset bush's from minispares, they arent a gimmic, the normal poly ones can and do break up prematurely.

if you do go for rose jointed ones get ptfe lined ones, use the protective rubber boots and pack with grease (but dont buy the boots from minispares, they can be bought elsewhere for a fraction of the price)

for the rear, you can get brackets which do toe in/out aswell as camber, so bear that in mind, alot of people rate the kad ones, but i got some minisport ones cheap 2nd hand and they are very good quality, couldnt comment on value new though.

minispares/sport/speed will all do kits that might include everything and more than you need for a discounted price, might be worth checking out.

Joeybaby's hit the nail on the head, the only thing i could add is to not get the huddersfield spares adjustable bottom arms, they arnt as good as the minispares ones.

I've seen 4 sets of minispares adjusable rear brakets snap, not in a major way, but it had knocked the wheel way out of alignment and could imagine if it happened whilst cornering on the edge it would probably result in a ditch finding excursion. Having said that i havent seen any recently that have snapped, so maybe they have changed. I have minisport ones myself, but would buy KAD if i went that route again. alternatively you could use shims available from Calvers Website which is what i'll be doing next time round.

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie

what ill get then is minispares offset bush's, and there adjustable bottom arms.
i think i got the trackrod end bit wrong i think i got confussed with the longer ones you can get, is this essental?

I saw a set when i was in MS and the are really nice quality!!

yes theyre the correct bushes,

the KAD rear brackets are about £100,

http://www.kad-uk.com/suspension.htm

the similar ones from Minisport are a lot cheaper and apear to be well made and are £45

althogh i don't like minisport i'd buy their brackets and 7 port head (actually I have) but sod all else.
