Hello, im new to this site so please be gentle with me *tongue*

Currently in the process of building a mini turbo so hopefully you guys will be able to give me some tips and pointers (new to turbos so lots of help required).

Built my mini over the last 12 months and after having it on the road for 6 weeks decided the performance from the 1330cc engine wasnt enough so a turbo engine has been purchased to replace it.

Here it is as of today, being prepared for the front end to come off and a carbon flip front to be fitted over the next few weeks *happy*

Indeed, IMO it is a shame to cut a good solid steel front end off! But each to their own!

It is a shame as the front end was only fitted last year before i bought the car but it wasnt done very well and doesnt fit properly so i decided to go for the flip front, to save on weight and to sort the inner wings out as they are in a bit of a mess.

Why not detach the steel front in one piece and have a steel flip front? You can still get rid of the inner wings that way?
