Am buying a set of 7x13's for my mini and am unsure of what rubber to wrap them in. I want something grippy and not too fussed about changing them regular, was thinkg of some super sticky hoostier tyres i have seen at a show and they look great but a believe them not to be road "LEAGAL" would my car still pas a mot with these tyres, also where can these tyres be perchased from. Other than these what other good options do i have. Many thanks |

Watch the wheel offset, highly likely you'll have to mod your front wheel arches or fit a "sportspack" steering rack. |

I use Bridgestone. I've had no complaints. Pretty sticky too. |

little hint here, if you fit 13's, rather than putting on a sportspack rack to stop the tyres rubbing the inner arch, KAD sell some plastic rack limiters, just pull the gaitors back, pop them on secure them with zip ties and refit the gaitors, sorted. I can vouch for that, these are a great bit of kit Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

I'm mainly concerned about swirl in the runners caused by the tangential entry. |
