Recently mounted my cooler on top of the front subframe. It basically is as long as the front of the frames bar (not as long as suspension turrets) comes up to the bottom of the dizzy and is about 2 inches wide.
Ok dave, whack it up to a bar......... KABOOM |

*Due to its position and size it will have more cold air hitting it ultimately cool the air more. This however; means that there will be a pressure drop as the air cools and it will require more boost to run. why should there be a pressure drop? if the core looks like it will flow well and there is plenty of air cooling it then it sounds the way to go, an chance of a pic? I suppose the pressure would drop as the air becomes more dense as it cools.
Quiet, can you hear it rusting? |

If you take the wastegate actuator pipe from the plenium instead of from the turbo,The losses will be balanced out
