What type of guides are best fitted for 214n stainless race valves?
The bronze ones or the magniesium bronze alloy ones?

Quiet, can you hear it rusting?

Avonbar sell some lovely phosper bronsze ones.

It's good practice to reem out the exhaust guides a bit to stop binding. I don't know a measurement, I just know it was done on my head.

9/32 reem (I think), thats mainly just to take any burrs off when fitting.

Near Daventry, midlands

i wouldnt normally sugges going to minispeed, but a while back they launched some new guides which were supposed to last longer than the std phosper-bronze ones from days passed. they are 'suposidly' very good and use a very modern material specifically designed for use with stainless valves - however they are expensive (50quid iirc) and i've never tried them.

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie
