Anybody know how to wire in an electronic ignition system. My car has a wiring loom from a 1991 car and has a verto setup and starter motor?

Its a mk1 dizzy.

2 wires onto the coil from the module, white and black -ve IIRC

Power to the coil +ve. Must be 12v with no ballast wire. check it gives 12v with a mulitmeter.

be worth checking. I know when i got my first metty turbo i wired it up wrong and it just didnt start, switched them round and it fired up!

Not sure how sensitive those modules are to be reverse poled though!

Ive got it to figure out, just have a trawl through a metro haynes manual. its in there.

In fact ill look at mine at dinner, its an mg metro engine but its essentially the same, its sat in the car park.
