Resident Cylinder Head Modifier

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

best valve sizes are 35.6 mm in ex 30mm for our turbo applications

are you talking about N/A race head here matty ?

28cc in the head with stock turbo pistons will give you a CR of around 8.4:1

with a good intercooler fitted you should be able to run 12 to 14 psi of boost, if the clutch can cope, if its a stock clutch or an uprated vertro one iam sorry to say it wont!

the stock turbo pistons will take this amount of boost

some may disagree though!

Pre-verto setup is definately the best using a organic plate, and grey pressure plate, it will cope with a fair amount of bananas before slipping!

matt , if that was the verto clutch with the .094 spring in it , , if you get the fitted clutch cover plate to have a flat spring when bolted up with a clutch plate in there ..by machining the flywheel pillars it bolts to ,then it will be well worth a try to see if itll cope with the power .

Arent standard ex valves circa 29mm ???

I assume someone makes/supplies larger exh valves now ?? What way to you ho about offsetting the valve ?? if thats required ( been there....with some success, and some well, not success )

My current head has standard ex valve sizes.

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

leeds/wakefield.

if you used the 35.6 inlet you can fit a 32mm ex valve in without offsetting.

rimflow come in 32mm ex with a slightly wasted stem.and with the thick head is good at absorbing heat,
