Currently i have a twin 1.25 carb set up on my 998, i have already fabricated the exhaust manifold for the turbo. I am planning to build a box chamber to seal the twin carbs for blow through design.

However, once the box is seal, it is extremely difficult to do carb adjustment. If i would like to convert the twin carbs into a single carb system, then what size of carb should i use? 1.25 single, 1.5, or 1.75...

i also though about designing a draw through system, that the carbs are mount infront of the turbo instead after the turbo, but the disadvantage of this set up is that i am not allow to add a blow off valve, and , an intercooler. (water injettion set up is ok for draw through)

The reason behind this for not allowing blow off valve is air and fuel mixture will vent out which is flammable, and intercooler will condense the fuel mixture into puddle, when there is a back fire, the intercooler could explode.

many thanks

The easiest soultion is to use the metro turbo carb for a blow through design.

the design shows a distinct lack of imagination,
talk about starting off with a clean sheet of paper, then not bothering to fucking draw on it,lol

I guess your box enclosed both the carbs totally so that they work under pressure.

By far the easiest soloution is to use the metro turbo carb and plenum as Wil says. It has been used over 200bananas and have very few complaints on this forum.

As the guys say, the metro turbo setup works well with minimal adjustment needed, there is no point re-inventing the wheel.

Yes, i find it rather troublesome keep adjusting the twin carbs within a confine space.
