Turbo Mini Forums

Just want to collect some info together. Not interested in supercharged, or aftermarket setups. Just motors that were produced (on a production line) both turbo and NatAsp. If applicable, use the same kind of induction system (eg - don't compare an EFi nat-asp to a blow-thru carb like on the MG montesto's)...

Also - if you have any specs, then also include them.

I'll start:
Escort 1.6CVH (mech injection)
99hp / 132hp @ 7-8psi

Fiesta 1.6CVH ((efi)
???hp / ???hp @ ?psi


GM 2.0 XE/LET
150hp / ???hp @ ?psi


Metro / MG Tubo
63hp / 92hp @ 7psi


Montestro 2.0carb / MG turbo
??hp / ???hp @ ?psi


etc....


Basically - I am interested to see what the power increase is as a percentage of the boost increase... Sure, there are different compressor efficiencies, different setups, but if enough data is collected, then there will be a definate trend. OE figures are good because they generally run compressors and turbines at max efficiency for the boost / displacement and the figures are proven. :)

that was the cx500 dangerous , i think it was 55 bhp and i think it was 96 bhp with 18psi boost ,but that bhp may be a bit high .the kawasaki gpz 750 80 bhp ,turbo 112 bhp 10 psi boost max .
