Does anyone know where the pink/White wire from the ignition switch to the coil changes from regular wire to resistance wire??

I know I can run a wire from the fusebox instead but if the resistive part is only a few feet long I would rather replace it and rewrap so the loom looks tidyer.... But if its all the way back to the bulkhead its pointless.

Morning, the ballest resisted wire should come from the ignition switch I believe, hope this helps.

I had to do this conversion on my mini, the resistive wire com from the fuse box, so agree with you , pointless to completely rewrap the loom

The wire is normal at the plug connection on the steering column so it must change somewhere in the loom. A mate of mine says the MGB resistive wire is about 10 feet long and loops around so I'm not going to chase it, I'll just run a wire from the fusebox. Thanks anyway....
