I have got to repair a few holes in the floorpan of the metro and was just wondering what thickness metal people would recommend using as a repair patch. Its to cover the hole in the attached picture. Is there a required spec for passing the MOT.

MOT requires it is a constant seam of weld all round :) or if it is a complete repair panel that it is weled as-per the origional pannel. turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)
