yer but surly it would get to a certian amount of power and it would be undrivable? as its a front wheel drive car?? I guess so. But so will a mini? Advantages of the starlet are: Decent engine to begin with, fuel injection, a plethora of tuning information, relativly light weight, etc. One of those can easilly be made significantly quicker than a mini. To be honest my reasons for building a turbo mini is because it is a mini, not because I want to be faster than other much more modern cars.

Exactly, if your just wanting something that is faster than so-and-so forget a mini. It isn't the best platform for building the worlds fastest chav basher. It is however jolly good fun to drive. On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

They are a very good car, my housemate at uni had one and used to embarrass a lot of expensive machinery like tvrs and scoobys. His was the earlier ep81 shape one but i understand the ep91 one is better but more expensive. My general road car is the non turbo starlet and its a sound but slow car!!! |

All depends what your mate is planning on doing with his Starlet....neons, zorsts, stickers, big halloys, and big bumpers won't help him at all! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

I thought of getting a Starlet Glanza V import but they are a bit steep. Not a bad car though, lots of potential for tuning. I think the mini might have him but the Slarlet is more tuneable. On 7th Nov, 2008 Nic said:

Yeah on high boost mode they are 130 bananas and on low boost they are 11o bananas. Unless its been delimited it will top out at 112mph though! |
