mk1 metro turbo dizzys, advance curves?

just been reading on the avonbar site about the hi boost dizzy, which boasts it has a similiair advance curve to a mk1 dizzy, is the mk1 curve a good thing then?? thats the dizzy i have but was going to change it for a later one for neatness!, if its better i'll keep it

Nope, its been posted here that they are both the same, later and earlier. Turbodave and others have the figures to prove it, its around the sight somewhere! Go for whatever you have really.

cheers, will use that for now as its what i have, just dont like the idea of the seperate ignition module and wires everywhere lol!

Yeah i know what you mean, ive got a mk1 dizzy but ill just get a later one sorted to my spec at some point.

on a completely different note iain, do you have any of those braided oil supply pipes at the mo or are you trying to source some?

Rang a supplier yesterday and they want me to call in tomorrow with a sample to see what they can do for me. Bit strange asking for a turbo oil feed for a mini!!!

Hopefully by tomorrow afternoon i should know where im going with it, if not ill just have to get the ones the same as avonbar etc but i can do them for ?45 including the post. I need one so ive got to sort them asap!!
