I am in the process of striping a turbo engine i rescently purchased and after taking the cylinder head off noticed it had double valve springs fitted which i thought wasnt standard on any A series engine so it got me thinking why it had been done?

Standard turbo had twin springs.

I wasnt planning on changing the cam at the moment so didnt really want to take it out, was hopeing someone would recognise the 2 on the end as a specific cam or make

. Checked another standard engine im building as well and the cam in that has nothing stamped on the end as expected for a standard cam.
