was thinking out uprating my suspension on my mini to adjuster rides and new shock was thinking the gaz lowered ride hight type or the avo which are best in your opinions.

ive tried spax, bilsteins and gaz, all of which id recommend but out of them the gaz are the lightest ones so...never tried avo "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

As with all things you get what you pay for. AVO, GAZ, Spax are al about the same price and all perform about as good as one and other. You will always find someone that has had problems with each though.

I know these aren't on your list but konis aren't really adjustable in the proper sense of the word. For a start you have to pull them off the car for adjustment but they can only be adjusted to counter the affects of wear as opposed to alter performance. Seen some AVO's they looked like coilovers without the springs they look very trad miglia inspired like the look of these not sure if they wll be a little bit too harsh for road use and not sure if they do one for the rear, what do you guys think About the damper described above are they a possibility.

I like koni's for their ride and efficiency, some are adjustables on car but this have a cost.
