gotta go and pick my mini up friday from being painted, then begins the fun of rebuilding it lol!

not bad considering tho, went in for a prep and spray in metallic silver / grey, get a phone call from them saturday telling me they dont want to do it standard and do i want something extra foc (they have had it a while and wanted to do something to make amends) so now i have a mettalic silver / grey car with a pearl blue mixed in and i think he said he was putting purple in, saw the paint as he mixed it and it looked good, cant wait to see the car done in it

oh yeah, all for ?650 too!

will let you know where if you are in the midlands and its any good, last time i saw it was in base colour coat but the prep looked spot on

Jet black with silver viper stripes - probably gonna be this winter though.Similiar style to the MG in the new season of BTCC
Allows me to enjoy the car this summer.

let me know if the paint jobs any good, as i'll need a few things painting soon, new arches/bonnet and the roof too. last dude i went to to have the new front end done was a bag of shite. didnt even weld the front panel to the inner wings.

My full respray (yaris black arches and roof, toyota supra red body) with mk1 rear lights, new rear valence, new wings and front panel, lots of little prep bits like dents filling cost me ?350 from the garage, mine was also an example, with the condition that i left their sticker in my rear window. The sticker was removed the following day though, no modern stickers alloud just retro racing ones

Seems that bodyshops like minis, well the one that did mine did, and said he enjoyed it as a change from crash damaged modern cars.
