I have used volvo spark plugs from an 1.7 trubo engine (b18ft volvo 480 es 20 euro /set from vlovo) with good success (have to be used with dished pistons, but this shouldn't be a problem with turbo engines)

BP7ES are OK for initial starting up the engine, this is what I am using them for, however I will be changing them after it is run in before it is rolling roaded.

I use BP7ES with no trouble at all. Well, not because of the plugs at least *wink*

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

Did anyone try the NGK VX range? I'm now using the B8EVX plugs and they are fine. I will convert my Turbo to a MegaJolt system, so will have to change to the BR8EVX or BR7EVX plugs.

Does anayone know whether projected (BPRxxxx) or recessed (BRxxxx)electrode plugs are best for use in a Turbo? I my opinion a recessed electrode would be best, because there is no hot spot in the combustion chamber, but I could be completely wrong..
