Hi guys hope this isn't to stupid a question. Rebuilding my turbo block and have decided to opt for megajolt ignition. What i'm not sure of tho is whether the dizzy drive should be left in the block when i blank the hole off. Not sure if theres reasons for leaving it in or for taking it out. Any help is much appreciated as always.
Thanks Tony

take it out and blank the hole.

otherwise it might bounce around, jam, shear/fall into and destroy your box.

You can get it in or out with the engine and box together. But definatly take it out.

be careful if its a pre A+, its possible to drop it into the box. you need to thread a long bolt into it then pull it out.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

feeble uk droped into this trap!

he left the drive in and blanked the hole, of of course it floped out found its way all around the engine & gearbox internals resulting in........... terminal damage to his motor.

remove it as said

Thats an interesting concept of using at as a breather..hmmm..??

If it could be used it could free up some space if you use it instead of the one above the flywheel.

Anyone tried this?

excellent idea!! but what about oil soak!!

i think you would have to place a few baffels in the adapter boss

anyone else ?

Near Daventry, midlands

been discussed before, possible, but would indeed need some good baffles as its inline with the crankshaft which would fling the oil out the hole.

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie
