I am completely new to turbos so please excuse me if this is a dumb question. I got a box of part with my metro turbo engine, al of which I have identified with the exception of the one below.

It is welded closed on the one end. Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

I dont believe it belongs on your car, is it a Oil T piece with pressure switch on the end?

Just looks like an attempt to have an oil gauge and a switch. Looks a bit heath robinson, that said so does mine.
