Ohlins Dampers

Is there any one using Ohlins Dampers on there mini. Am starting to build a tuned mini which hopefully one day i want to race (when funds permit) In the build i am spending a fair amount of mony on the handling of the mini and was wondering what dampers to use was thinkig of AVO or GAZ but also Ohlins dampers crossed my mind. Tried searching on the internet for them but cant find much information on them regarding fitment for a mini. Do you know much about these dampers eg cost quality.

dunno if they do a bolt on kit for a std mini, ive seen a few race minis (miglia i think) with them.

be prepared though, my mate put ohlins all round on his swift rally car, and it came to near on £900 smackers per corner (coilovers).

they are apparently the creme de la creme though

from what I have seen going on the miglias these are the best! but need re-valving often

Just had a quote 350 quid each for some get me going dampers and 1400 for the mutts nutts of Ohlins finest miglia spec dampers. Should of expected the quality shows for its self, still 350 each is a tad out of my price range, think i will stay with the AVO's or GAZ shocks.

be warned I can garantee what ever money you have, and what ever Ohlins will tell you, you will not be getting the same shocks as the front runnings miglias.

Still get a bloody good shock. I use Avo's only because I can't afford Ohlins
