Just wondering where everyone has taken the live power supply from for there Megajolt set-ups. Also does anyone know roughly how much current the system draws when running.

Also are the programmable outputs switched high or switched low?

Thanks

Luke

The MegaJolt live power can be connected to any switched 12v as long as the 12v remains available when turning the key to the start position. (I think the white cables in the Mini are live when starting).

I've connected the MegaJolt to an amp meter, it doesn't use more than 1 amp.

The MegaJolt can beconfigured to connect the programmable outputs to ground at a certain RPM/MAP level or to break the ground and create an open circuit. So whatever you need it can be programmed. Great system!

Thanks for the replies, i was thinking of using the 12 volt feed that used to go to the coil and just wanted to check that it wasn't going to be drawing massive current, but sounds like this will be ok.

Thanks

Luke

If you use the coil supply make sure it's not ballasted ,otherwise you will only get 9v(ish) when the engine is running
