plz help lads,

is ?300 a gud price for a working 1293 engine with a t3 turbo runnig 120bhp? also i want 2fit it 2my 1976 mini 1000 so apart from breaks ne otha mods i gotta do? oh n one more fing, do i have 2fit a turbo box or not?

A turbo box is a must unless you go the mirage manifold route. This is a lot more expensive, but i think Iain and a few others are trying to organise a group buy so could work reasonable enough.

Your turbo engine will more than likely be running a verto setup with the later type starter. If you want to keep it like this, ur old mini clutch slave cylinder will need to be changed and the electrics modified for the starter, ignition coil and electronic dizzy.

Probably best to replace all the subframe mountings with polymer bushes etc.

You will also need to fit new large 8mm fuel pipes....with a return pipe to the tank. I had a hole drilled and the top of the tank and a small pipe welded into it.
