Force Racing ICT Dept Manager Miglia Turbo Am frum Yokshyer tha noes!

I have just bought a decent second hand turbo head, which i was going to drop off with Benross for him to do his stuff on the chambers, but then someone mentioned getting the chambers milled out circulair similair to the one Jimster has. Is it better to have the chambers shaped rather than have them milled? Milling seems the easier option since i have free access to a mill and a very skilled engineer! *wink*

there is a lot more to a good head than big chambers, the head did me good, but I think I would have gained something if I had better squwish.

Measure the circumference of the bowls and then mill em out to that for starters and then take bigger bites if you have to. Shame you can't bolt the thing to the mill and then spin the bed with the cutter off centre. That would make it a lot easier.

I suspect at higher than atmospheric pressures, the beak is less relevant. The chamber looks right and as they say, if it looks right, quite often.........

Bugger off, I'm getting there.
