First of all which is the best brake setup to use 7.5 vented or 7.9 vented system for track days? As far as my knowleage takes me the 7.9 vented setup should be the ultimate however I am under the impression that this will cause an issue with the fitting of 10 inch wheels, and may or may not be any better that the vented 7.5 setup. Is this true?

I am currently running 7.9 vented disks with alloy 4 pot calipers and have to say they are pretty good (with no servo). They went straight on to the standard drive shafts i had and run perfectly on my 10X6 rims.

Bear in mind that apart from the vented disks being machined to 7.9mm the also need some 600 thou? removed from where they bolt to the mini drive flange, not a problem if you buy the disks modded, but i thought i'd save some money and mod the disks my self for my Kad 6 pots... much head scratching!!
