The main man Mr Flan(big thanks Jon),has just given me a pair of brake master cylinders with adjustable bias and hydraulic clutch pedal (that will sort out that pesky cable)

Any idea on how to plumb it in,do I just rip out all the pressure reducers and plumb the 4 pipes from the ap 4 pots to the front, and the rear cylinders to the rear.

I think the standard setup has 1 circuit doing all 4 corners with another circuit just doing the front.

Also how do you bleed the fronts afterwards,is it all 3 nipples at the same time ????

Yes plumb it in as you describe, make sure you check the master cylinder bore sizes and plumb the right end of the car to the correct one.

To bleed the calipers do the nipples working from the bottom upwards. A pressure bleeder will help you with this.

Which one for the fronts then Tom,the one with the larger bore?
They came of a challenge car so should be the right sizes for the metro brakes

With the area of the pistons in the 4 pot calipers, yes, the one with the larger bore will do the front brakes I would have thought.

Got it all done and bled
eventually, works a lot better than the tandem master and servo with better pedal feel.

Edit....Must get a shiny clutch master

Ah problem can't stop one of the rears locking in the wet, unless I drive around a bit with my left foot on the brakes to warm them up.....then they are fine.
If I lengthen the rod for the front master by unscrewing it a bit from the wobble joint will that improve the fronts

Found a bit of info now........

Having the balance bar pivot all the time is not a big deal. They ride in a spherical bearing. Just adjust the push rods so that when the pedal is depressed and the masters squish in the bar is perpendicular to the push rods. The master that travels more gets a longer push rod.
