told people before about my med engine its sat in the garage in kit form for 3years unused the spec is
Block:-+20, faced 005, new centre bearings, Acid Dipped, centre main strap, new oilways and 11 stud
Crank:-grind, ni-tempered, cross drilled, wedged,
Rods Lightened ARP nuts and bolts
Pistons:- Omega forged 15cc dish
Cam:- MED T3
Duplex Timing chain
competition bearings
Steel Flywheel and Backplate Orange clutch rotating assembly balanced
Turbo Spec head 35.7x30.0 28cc Chambers
Roller tip rockers

I want to know who can build this engine as its a mess where its been sitting and what else i need to do as i want to get as much power as possible but keep some reliability, the car is going to be used for track days so i want all the best parts as cost isnt much of a problem i need to know everything i need so the engine has a box on it and is ready to go in the car, looking at V-Max Scart, or Morspeed etc or ive heard tom fenton is very good who do people recommend?
Sorry about the long post

The spec you list sounds pretty comprehensive engine wise and should be good for 170+ bhp when properly set up.

One glaring error though is the orange clutch cover, this is not up to the job of dealing with the torque of a turbo motor and will slip, you want to be looking at a grey cover at least or even possibly a double-grey cover. What friction plate are you intending to use?

Apart from that, other things to think about are-
a) Ignition system? Distributor or use mapped ignition?
b) Turbo? Standard T3? or T2 / T25?
c) Exhaust Manifold- standard metro type or mirage stainless type?
d) Fuelling side, so you will need a carb, inlet, plenum, fuel pressure reg, intercooler

Then moving onto gearbox, with that kind of power aims, you will be needing straight cut drop gears, preferably with the roller type idler, straight cut gearset also, and a cross pin diff.
All that then needs building into a casing with new bearings and seals etc.

Bear in mind that you are extracting a large amount of power from an engine originally designed around 60bhp, so no matter what you do to it, expect to do frequent maintenance and rebuilds to keep it in tip top condition.
