Hi i need help i have a 1293 turbo which people are saying should be around 170bhp from the spec my question is the car will be doing some road and a lot of track work so i wondered what is the best option a x-pin diff or a quaiffe ATB LSD?

Quaife ATB is the way forward, I can't really be arsed to detail the pros and cons as these have been discussed times many before now, do a search for "LSD" or "Quaife" and see what comes up.

It's my understanding that what you get with a cross-pin is a stronger diff, but you still have the problem of only power transmitting to only one wheel. The limited slip allows power to both wheels, at the cost of some driving "excentricities"... **************************************

Quaife is the posi of choice for the street with that much HP, it is as strong as a 4 pin diff .BOBB Lots is good , more is better and too much is just right when refering to HP. |
