AS I understand it, if you just slap a ic on, you wont get anymore hp, not unless you modify your needle to suit !

also an intercooler allows you to run higher boost without detonation and thus without meltdown! And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |

Ever driven your car on a chilly evening after a warm day?..did you notice the performance being a little "chirpier"..An IC will give you some extra free performance but also you to safely turn up the boost, say to 10 psi without any danger..Still would advise a RR tune to optimise everything.
