never had any dealings with a dumpvale so im not quite sure whats going on, i bought the car with it allready on but i dont think its working as i cant hear it. ive included 2pics, the first one is the contense of my dump valve and the 2nd is how its plumbed in. Ive searched through the pictures but cant find my answer.
I no they attach to the plenum but where does the other end go? ATM mine is plumed into the presure reducing valve! is that correct?

it may b small but it purfectly formed

The small connection on the dump valve needs to be connected to the engine side of the throttle, ie... the inlet manifold.

yeah the little tube into the top needs to have a vacuum line attached, this can be tapped into the inlet manifold.

What ive just done is t-pieced it into the vacum pipe that comes out of the inlet manifold that goes to the crank case breather. But it still dont work! have i done something wrong or do you think my dump valve is nackered?

No it really needs its own dedicated line to function properly mate.

cheers mate, did sorta think afterwards wether the Air fliter would "nick" all the vacum or not. so you say i need to directly tap into the inlet manifold?

check that braided (fuel?) line your using isnt blocked, its not designed for vacuum so could be your problem...

as the other guys say, it should go to a nipple on the inlet manifold.
