Hi folks, just a quicky, have purchased a secondhand "good condition" T2 off a phase two Renault 5 GTT, jus sat and removed the turbo elbow, and found a crack runnin from the waste gate, is the detrimental to the either condition or use of the unit? Is it still usable?

You'll be lucky to find a secondhand unit without cracks. The smaller units seem to suffer much worse than larger Turbos. There nearly always fine to use, though i believe Dave had trouble with the wastegate not sealing properly due to this. Stick it on and see how you go.
