I have a collection of drive shafts in the garage.

All of disc brake origin. Just wondering is there any difference in them.

e.g which are best to use.

Thanks

I drill holes in everything..!

dunno about what was fitted to what, but there's thin and thick shafts, thin ones are thick at the ends and thinner in the middle and the thick ones are pretty much the same thickness all the way down.

I've never heard of a shaft breaking except on the machined part at the CV, so it probaly don't matter which you use, but given the choice i'd use the thick ones.

I think all later drive shafts are much the same really. Never noticed any difference in any of mine!

Whatever you do, DONT mix n match the bearings and races as they don't tend to run very smooth...Lol.....learned from my mistakes. *wink*
