after struggling for god kows how long trying to get my bent bonnet hinges off i fitted a set of minispares quick release jobbies, after all the struggling and trying to break my wrists in 5 places i fitted one, went to clip the retaining strap over and it bloody snapped

If it's any help I've got a set of quick release hinges from MiniMail on my car and they are fantastic, totally different to the minispares items, very easy to fit and work well. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:
