Incredibly unlikely,

But has anyone started to make an exhaust manifold and given up leaving them with the 3 flanges that bolt to the head?

If so how much to part with them?

Why not buy a cheap lcb type manifold off ebay and cut the flanges from that?

I remembered that i have some 10mm plate at work, i might just break out the hacksaw and file... or better still make one of my minions do it, *evil*

i think it might have been a private sale on ebay, but will keep straining the cells

if your making one, you could just use a gasket as a template

not sure that you'll need that thick flanges, they'll expand more.lcb type flanges are ok for the job , the only upgrade I would concern if possible is stainless.

Would this be any use ?
I got 5 cut recently, although havent used them yet.
Holes are 1mm samller all round than gasket, so will need opened slightly. I did this deliberately, rather than having them cut large by accident.
it is 1 piece, 15mm steel. So even if it warps badly during welding, there is plenty left to machine down.
Fixing holes werent cut, as they can only cut holes the same diam, as the flange is thick, and an 8mm flange would be too thin.

£25+ postage ?

Ive made quite a few turbo manifolds/parts ( not minis ), and usually when you weld the flanges, they end up like a banana.

I now always get them cut from 15mm steel, to ensure strength, and to give me room to have them machined flat, if they do warp, without leaving a skinny flange afterwards.

tell me about it!

when i welded up the inlets for the 7 port i really was suprised by the amount it bent, i expected a bit but it really was like a banana, a good 1/2" at least, luckely as it was ally i could bend it back.
