Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I saw at least three Rover 600/800 with V6s in my local scrapyard last weekend.

Are these the KV6?

I like nice quiet girly Minis

Depends on the year but most of thsoe will be the Honda motor. Still great though, until they go wrong then big £££££s.

Other engines worth considering are;

Alfa V6 (164/155's always in the breakers and most of the bodywork will have fallen off making access easy!!

Audi/VW V6 and transaxle .. built proof and very tunable .. sounds great too with out the 6 silencers normally fitted! Transaxle from an Audi model would put the engine truely mid mounted too .... this would be what I went for if I was going to do it ... which I was tempted to a while back!!!!!)

Vaux V6 from front of Vectras can give good performance.

Stay away from the the Ford Duratec V6 though as it can be fragile, expensive to get bits for and after all comes from the blue oval (fixed or repaired daily ......)

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...
