Someone somewhere done this study a while ago, but check out number 6!!!!

9. Traffic lights
10. Self-cancelling indicators
11. Bumpers (1905)
12. Factory fitted radios (1922)
13. National speed limits (1865)
14. Race track (1908)
15. 60-40 rear split seat (1980)
16. Motorway service area (1959)
17. Multi-storey car park (1901)
18. Car museum (1912)
19. Caravans (1919)
20. Classic car club (1930)

and no 7, thats the way forward lol

I would have thought the engine would have been in there somewhere!

Any why is caravans in there??? They were around before cars!

internal combustione engine maybe as there were steam powered ones before, but maybe they mean specifically for cars i.e. internal combustion engines are also in planes etc etc?

I've seen the future and tbh its Pie

Yay, the pneumatic tyre was invented by a man from Belfast! That must be the only thing we are famous for. Well, except rioting and joy riders.

Dont forget, we did have some fame for nailing a "joy-rider" to a fence *happy*

A turbocharger should also be in there.....

202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

Oh aye that's right, we invented self policing. I have to say getting nailed to a fence and having my knee caps shot off would keep me out of trouble!
