i've got machined 8.4's on mine and i'd advise stumping up for a set of 7.5's On 20th Oct, 2015 Tom Fenton said:

there are some jap wheels that are copies of "S" rims but in alloy that fit over 8.4" discs with no work required only problem is the rims have a massive offset so stick out loads and will make the car handle like crap. you can turn the discs down and fit 4 pot metro calipers and move them in with the use of a welder. cost me £20, then almost all 10" alloy wheels fit. or spend around £300 on "S" disc set up and fit any 10" wheel you like Edited by jimmy on 14th Nov, 2006. 1293 Turbo mini

i used have a set of the modded 4 pots, the mounting holes were redrilled further in so the calliper sits right up against the centre of the disc, and you need to shave down the outside of the calliper aswell.

Let me put it this way, it was no drama driving with thiese wheels. The was easyer tha the 12" wich are my wintertyres. With the 13" sportpack I had to realy hold on to the steeringwheel, in any speed :) www.shag.no |
