I have had a pit bike for a few months,In my quest for more power I am thinking of getting it bored from 54.5mm to 60mm(going from 124cc to 161cc)It's a aircooled 4 stroke engine similar to a honda 50/70/90 range

This will only leave 2mm thickness between the cylinder and the head bolts

Do you think it will be ok

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

i would not be concerned on the bores

but its the stud holes may pull out if the torque on them is high

give it a go bri

I was thinking heat distortion,the 4 studs screw in at the crankcase,pass straight through the barrel and nuts on top of the head

give it a go you have only a barrel and gaskets and piston to lose

i bet you will be fine
