My little sis wants a new car, she has about £800-1000 to spend.

she does 60 miles a day to college and back - so it has to be reliable enough for that. rather not have to do any work on it tbh! |

ive got an 85 998cc mayfair auto, taxed untill end of december, still mot'd (can't remember till when off top of my head.) its in blue, starts and stops fine. Has'nt been looked after by the previous owner and havent had the time to sort it completly myself. It's had the back seats removed. Could really do with a new front end as parts of it are in primer where he has filled it. For some reason it runs hot, no idear why, but its never overheated on me!

Why doesn't she go for a golf or a polo coupe instead? You know the cars inside out, they're safer and easier to work on. Still pretty cool too. |

Our lasses Polo 1.0 will be up for sale soon due to car changes at Spannerbitch HQ, should fit the bill perfectly. In 3 years it has not missed a beat, and apart from a new exhaust section from old age, a set of brake pads, a tyre or two, and servicing, I haven't had todo anything else to it.
