I have been needing to replace my lambda probe on my polo gt, i got the probe the other day but it had 4 wires, when looking at mine today its only a 3 wire sensor, the extra wire on my sensor is just an earth wire.

The question is will this probe work in my car if it just earth it or wont it run because of the extra wire?
