is the size of mk1/mk2 boot lid the same size of a mk3. im hopefully selling a mk1 fibreglass boot tonite but it seems abit small in my hole. dont want to mislead the bloke.:) no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

My mk1 fibreglass boot skin fits in my mk3 fine. Im bonding mine onto the frame from a mk3 boot so i can use the hinges, lock and retain some sort of strenght. |

I got the a single skinned one for a tenner brand new and had an old boot kicking round. Havnt done it yet, but will be drilling the fook out of the frame. The frame doesnt hasnt really got any weight in it anyway, its always gonna be lighter than a standard metal boot. |
