Was looking at my plenum today ...
Getting ready to make a hole for my dump valve
Now I can only MIG but the blooming thing is ally !!!
HOW HOW HOW can I do it
any one tried like that loctite liquid weld ?
Or any other suggestions ?

ALSO

I wanna bung up the dump valve

someone said something on here about using 5p pieces ,,, if I do that should I still leave the spring and plastic bung in place?

Probably the 100th person to ask these question

Lake District

For the dump valve adaptor i drilled and tapped the plenum, then made a threaded adaptor to screw in, then locktite it in place.

you can weld ally with a mig, change the wire to ally wire, and change the gas to argon, not as hard as people make out, just make sure you have the wire speed set fast or your tips melt

Yep, as Jim states !

Although be gentle with the gun, as the ali wire seems to be a little more fragile than steel
