I was saying that I was driving for about seven year now without any troubles, well today my gearbox got stuck in first gear and did not recover. This is the moment for a turbo transpant as I have to get to it anyway.
I shall do a foto session of these repairs and mods, It may take some time as I do not have all the parts available yet.
keep you guys posted. I may ned some help, its me first turbo project.

I have suffered my first problem already, Before lifting the engine I put in the turbo kit to see if things would fit.
Did not look bad except for the interference between the steering colomn and the exhaust and even the compressor.

Thanks for the tips guys, i have decided to fabricate my own exhaust manifold. i have two T3 laying around and no T2 so thats not an option, its very hard to obtain metro turbo stuff in Holland. guess the car was not sold to much here.
The option to tilt the engine, move it a little aside and move the steering rack a little is my last option and not prefered.
If tilted my hole in the bonnet will increase.
Ill try to fab my own inlet manifold as well if possible to reduce height.
keep you informed about the outcome.
Cheers Arno
