i havent bought one but i would say its a case of what you pay is what you get sort of thing.

GRP mouldings are a definate you get what you pay for. However, even the best ones won't be an amazing fit owing the individual nature of the Mini.
Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Why not make a steel flip front, that way it can be built on the car and will look spot on.

Yer i was thinking of buying the 2 piece front as i like the idea of having a removable bonnet!

Bought my flip front from minispeed, fitted well, but all will need an element of adjustment, mine now fits bang on, i posted some pics last week. search for 'work in progress' to check it out. |

Hi I got a 2 pice clubman front from ABS last week, seams to fit ok altho it needs sum trimming , bonnet is a bit tight at the front but for the money am not complaining. |

Looks really nice Mark, How have you fitted your arches as i notice they arn't cut do you take them off when you need to flip the front?

Cheers Matt I just remove the 2 screws from the A panel, and the front arches will flip with the front, they have been off the car for some time while I have been working on the engine tho. I wouldn’t cut them IMO, as they never / very rarely line up and it looks poo.
