I see rotrex have got good tech info on their site which is usefull now. But how you get a 98.5% efficiency from a 1:7.5 speed-up epicyclic gearset is a mystery to me LOL!

But in 2007, the BINI is going to be fitted with a turbo IIRC. So cheap superchargers will be getting scarce, I'm going to get a few spares.

it does look like a screw type doesnt it , maybe calling a rootes type gets round a patent or two .lol
