These are £50 posted for either T2 or T3.

These are standard rebuild kits and i cant get uprated ones.

They include seals, bearings, bolts etc etc

Iain, what do you normally do with regard to balancing the turbo after rebuild????

If there is someway I could get it properly balanced then I'd be interested in kits to do my turbos.

I did mine by marking the shaft and compressor wheel. therefore you dont effect the balance. that is what a lot of people do.

Ok, still think I'll speak to a couple of people about balancing though as it is really unlikey to go back together 100% in the original position.

If I find anybody who can help then I'll post there details along with a quote.

do a search. we had a big debate on this a year or so back

personally i think it will be fine.

Other option which i chose as mine was beyond repair is i can get full cores (i.e. not including the turbine of compressor housing)

non-exchange for about £250.

Thats the way i've just done mine.

its a shame really as i work for Honeywell who bought out Garrett a few years back.

We have all of the balancing equipment still sat at work for the turbos

Iain I take what your saying on board, just of a nervous disposition.

Might well be interested in the "core" option though, that could appeal to me.

How often do you order these kits in Iain? I don't have the T2 yet so not keen on buying a kit in case I end up having to buy a 'new' one.

I can ask about and see if any of our turbine chaps know how to use the equipment.

I know people at work who have had them done there before so someone must know how to use the balancing equipment and programs.

probably order once a month if anyone is interested. havent ordered for ages though.

These should be in my hands on monday and sent out the same day
