The other way to get hold of a lambda boss is to go down your local Kwik-Fit type place and ask if you can root through their scrap bin. Chances are you will come across a downpipe they have replaced which will have the boss in it, and take it home. Then you can cut the boss out and weld it to your downpipe.

I was talking to Richard over at Mirage about this the other day, and there is a chap on ebay who sells lambda bosses made out of turned down nuts, we both agreed that they were a bit of a bodge, but if your after the cheapest mild steel boss this is it:

My sister is so fit I won't show anyone her picture

Why not just buy a nut which is the correct thread and weld it on ? This will cost you a few pence.
That's what i did nearly three years ago now.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

turned down nut is hardly a bodge at all! just a good use of whats to hand to b honest. i'd use one of them just as much as a purpose made adaptor. only thing is the nut one may be harder to weld in as its likely to have more gaps.

I'm using the adpator i got with my AEM kit though.
