They will come off, try harder!

A bolster chisel between trumpet and cone usually does the trick.

I like nice quiet girly Minis

Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

I have had success with freezing them then running a little hot water over the joint .... usually fall straight into the sink ...

Every day is a school day ...........

How fast and how expensive ...... the same question...

it was a while ago i read this, and today i finally got back out to the garage (after new year celebrations :) :) ) and for some reason i seem to remember you saying, put them in the oven and then run cold water over them and they will just fall off....

now mum wouldent let me put them in the oven, lol so i used a blow torch on the end just next to the rubber then poured cold water on then continued hammering, about 3 hits and it fell off!

tried a bolster chissel just before that with no luck tho.

altho i got the idea wrong, i got it sorted lol. that sides finished now on with the other side, witch is very very difficult becouse i cant get my wheel off...

thanks for the advice - and saving me money!*happy*

Dan, firstly why can't you get the wheel off?

Nothing wrong with direct heat other than you don't want to damage the doughnuts. Glad to help.

i have lost my locking wheel nut key, the front ones are off, but i have tried everything to get the rear ones off and failed. i know my mate will be able to at the mot station, witch will be the first place the car goes when its running so thats not a problem.. but untill then they are staying put, lol

Thanks Dan
