I just bought this for a family member, well we're spliting the cost of it between a couple of us...

I have the 36fret Right handed model and it fantastic, they don't come up often and they're pretty rare so this should be worth a bit one day.

in those bits you can't see the cool neck thru body contoured back though, honestly these are one of the slickest guitars i've played, real smooth and fast, a fretwanker paradise!! i rate them along side PRS, Ernie Ball Van Halens and Ibenez Jems,

heres a pic of the rear of one

Why so many frets? What are they like to play, surely when you get past 24, the gaps are so small it's impossible to play.

Lovely looking guitar though, never seen one before. *happy*

Surprisingly playable!!

on the 36 fret model up above the 29th is pretty cramped but good for RATM covers if you havent got a pitch bending pedal.

If you don't do much rythm work they are basicly an N4 with 1 pickup but a bit better sounding IMO, probably due to being neck through body.

How much is a good N4 these days?

Last N4 i saw was £1400 i think. One of my mates is building one from parts he's been collecting. I've never played one, borrowed an N2 for a while though.

next time you're down matt, we'll head over to guitar village and to andertons, both great shops for buying guitars. I didn't raise the low e, wasn't really buzzing when had a little play of it. Happy to have another look for you though.

Yea its strange, it was fairly close to buzzing before, but now it does on all frets?

I'll just higher it up a bit for now i think!

i'm up for that!!

Matt, if you raise it, it will slightly affect the intonation. Have a go though and see what it's like, you can always just put it back.

Hmm, well that could be a problem aswell, as I lowered them about 6 months back, the E B G strings have all been lowered a tad. *blush*

I know the intonations are adjusted by the grub screws on the bridge but, how do I know when there right?

need a very good tuner for that, unless you have an excellent ear. I use the strobe function on my TU-2. Drop it round again and i'll do it for you. :)
