First time here really like the site, loads of interesting stuff and some excellent cars. Here are a few shots of mine. (First go hope this pics come out ok)

1310, machined for GRP A head gasket, 10cc Dished Omega Pistons, 274 Cam, Hybrid Turbo, dump valve, bleed valve, Intercooler off of Nissan 300ZX, Quick enough for now. I'm getting a Stage 3 Head to help it along a bit further soon.

Twin.
Purple one's the girl friend?s old car just been rebuilt and re-sprayed to sell sadly not a Turbo. Details in for sale section shortly.

The Intercooler's off of a Nissan 300ZX.
I think they also use it some of the olde skylines too.

I live in Totton.

Cars off the road at the mo' about a month now
Had a few problems with a new stage 3 head.
Had it off and rebuilt 3 times now.

Head's been sent back as it's got a crack in it somewhere.
Hopefully the guy i bought it off of will replace it and pay for my wasted headgaskets etc their GRP A at about ?90 a go.

About ?250 wasted so far on gaskets, oil etc

cheers *smiley*

A couple of people have suggested to me that you can re-use them but several other people say not.

Not sure really

not sure if it'll make a good seal the second time with out adding a couple of extra Nm's but shouldn't really do that either.

pricey but better safe than sorry

The bloke I bought the head off of (Stuart Gurr of VMAX) has confirmed there's a hole near the exhaust port on No. 2

He's building me another head and sending a new head gasket free of charge so not too bad after all.

I want to do a couple of things to the car first

When it's where I want it to be I'll have a go at getting in one or both of the mini mags, if they're interested

The Blue's a colour from a local haulage firm from southampton
It's called 'Norman Offer blue'

My brother works in a truck garage so got the paint from there

Vaxhall do a similar colour though
